Take him to a bridal shower…a GIRL party with nothing but GIRL presents.
In a perfect world I would have not taken him. I mean I am a bad mama but I do not believe in torturing my children on purpose…most of the time. But Bill was out of town, big sisters were working and I couldn’t find child care for him. But it was okay, sort of. The shower was for his favorite Aunt Toni and his Grandmom and favorite cousin, Kaya, was there too. Toni and I were also able to make sure Daniel’s ring bearer outfit fit him well.
OMG he looks so freakin’ adorable, er, handsome in it!!!!
But there is only so much GIRL stuff one 7 year old boy can stand so yes, this was torture for him. For Toni, I imagine, it was wonderful and since it was abouyt her, the beautiful bride, that is all that really matters.
