EMPS #5: still fruit

Over at Ellipsis, Carly writes:

EMPS #5: Still Life Photography: Fruit.
I think it will be fun to do some Still Life Photography from time to time as an EMPS, and now seems like a great time to get started! I love doing Still Life photography, because it opens all kinds of possibilities, and gives me much more creative control. I can play with lighting, and props, and get really excited about taking what I can imagine, and transforming it into art. So, let’s give it a try this week using Fruit.

Right now, this is sitting on my kitchen counter in plain sight with the hopes that my circus clowns will be enticed to choose a healthy snack.

    Goodness

How could they possibly turn down such delicious fruit. Apples in autumn is one of lifes great treats. And a cold banana with a little bit of peanut butter on it and a glass of milk… ahh… Heaven! Lovely, lovely photo. Thanks so much for playing along Laura, you are appreciated more then you know!

    Big Hugs

I can’t speak for those who live under the bit top, but you’ve certainly made me hungry! I especially like the way the row of three Granny Smith apples is flanked by two red (Braeburn? Gala?) apples on each side.

I’m feeling like some bananas and apple slices drowned in caramel. Nice. My troops would have all of that gone in about five minutes flat. Those are our favorites!
