Over at Colloquium, Janie is filling in the blanks this Friday. It’s been a long and tiring week here under the Big Top…adjusting to the Back to School schedule is always hard on us all but add a little jet-lag, a little lot of health-related stress and worry, a 9 week old baby who suddenly doesn’t want to sleep at all and her sleep-deprived mama; plus I am supposed to be napping right now rather than blogging because I do have to work tonight so naturally I am blogging and filling in my own blanks.
- The last meal I had at a restaurant was last Saturday at the Highlander Pub & Grille at Forest Park. It was a delicious grilled tuna steak with a ton of grilled fresh veggies. Seriously check this place out next to the Hampton Inn and Suites in Forest Park….I promised Chris, April and Scott and that I would blog some love about them.
- Shopping is a lot like sex…it can be good, amazing, boring and well…
- The full moon was last night which means I should be napping before I head off to work.
- My kids would say that, “Get the kitchen clean.” is one of my favorite expressions.
- Sometimes it is best to just keep my mouth shut.
- The Kite Runner and The Dark Knight is are the best movies I’ve seen so far this year.
- And as for the weekend tonight I’m looking forward to returning to work (UGH!). Tomorrow my plans include uninterrupted sleep during the day and working all night. Sunday I want to sleep, relax, hang out with the circus act which inludes cuddling with Daniel and Hazel and then getting the kids ready for school on Monday…it is so good to be back in the school routine!
