Jealous, much?
Well, yes, just a little; but it was my conscious choice to not go this year even though I live in the backyard of The City. SOMEONE had to stay home and run the Big Top including the wiping of butts (child and grandchild), the feeding of pets and children, the taxiing of the parsel-tongued child from camp to cheer practice to friends’ houses and movies…”How was Batman?“…”Okay I guess. But it was so long that I fell asleep.” I could have gone to BlogHer but there was just too much going on with some of my circus act out of town that I didn’t feel right leaving the remaining act to fend for themselves alone. Holly is just barely getting it down with Hazel’s pseudo sleeping-through-the-night sleep pattern while she is adjusting to the juggling of school, work and baby so I couldn’t ask her to work in caring for brother Daniel and sister Abby. She is just a beginner at this juggling thing. It just wouldn’t be right. So I promised myself that next year I will be at BlogHer ‘09…definitely…maybe…definitely.
In the meantime, I am keeping up with the goings on thanks to the tweets of her and her and her and her and her and her and them. I honestly feel like I am a part of the discussions going on. It’s almost like I was there!…sort of, kind of…without the martinis and squealy laughter and sponsor parties…next year, okay?
Meanwhile, I do get to enjoy some rocket launching with my amazing boy, some major cuddle time during afternoon naps with my child and grandchild and I get to take in the deliciousness of these delectable baby toes.

In other news…the latest report from Vegas is that Jodie scored gold in her solo…again and place fourth overall in her division at freakin-Nationals! Yes, I am receiving tweets from them too.
