Because I ascribe to the belief that one can never really truly spoil a baby by holding them…c’mon, people, they are immobile, helpless and actually need and crave human touch in order to thrive…I carried my five children as infants in a sling practically everywhere. It was always so much easier. I met their need to be close and snuggled and I had my hands free to juggle with. I never imagined that I would be “wearing” my grandbaby some day but here I am “wearing” Hazel while I am doing the laundry, making lunch for Daniel and playing with his new rocket launcher with him. Tradition is a pretty neat thing.

Would you believe me if I told you my kids hated the sling? Yep. Hated it. All of them. But they all loved their binkies. Had a very hard time breaking them of it when they were older but there is nothing cuter than a baby with a binky!
OH WOW! I loved traditions as well. That is a great one.
She is so cute. Do you think Billy Bob Thorton was a “sling baby” ? ha ha ha
Oh, precious!!!

How wonderful!! I hope I will have such wonderful experiences with my future grandchildren! For now I enjoy wearing my little ones.
Oh my goodness, I LOVE that you are babywearing your grandbaby. I have to show this to my mom. SHe wore her children and now I’m wearing my babies. No, children could never be spoiled from wearing/holding them. Thanks for the cute photo. Oooh.. I just love the babywearing grandma!!!!!!!!
I love that you’re wearing your grandbaby. My mom didnt wear us, but will wear my babies.
Oh I hate “you’re going to spoil him/her”. I don’t believe it either.
