
Because I ascribe to the belief that one can never really truly spoil a baby by holding them…c’mon, people, they are immobile, helpless and actually need and crave human touch in order to thrive…I carried my five children as infants in a sling practically everywhere. It was always so much easier. I met their need to be close and snuggled and I had my hands free to juggle with. I never imagined that I would be “wearing” my grandbaby some day but here I am “wearing” Hazel while I am doing the laundry, making lunch for Daniel and playing with his new rocket launcher with him. Tradition is a pretty neat thing.
