Adventures in Juggling

final rest

November 16, 2007 · 4 Comments

I found this article by way of John Scalzi and I found myself thinking.

Don’t be too afraid.

Besides reminding me of a rather unfortunate evening in Las Vegas in the bar at the Hard Rock Cafe (and making me feel almost as nauseous as I felt that evening), it got me wondering just a little. Someday when my time here on Earth is done, I hope to be cremated but I am not all that certain what I would want done with my ashes…as if I have some control over that. So while I ponder over my own final resting place I am wondering where will yours be?

He’s here!

He’s young. He’s fresh. He’s broad-breasted. He is 25 pounds of turkey goodness and, thanks to the help of the 100,000 baby names book, his name is Emerick!

Now to get the house clean and shop for the all the goodies to surround young, fresh, broad-breasted Emerick.

What are your plans for the Thanksgiving holiday?
